This position may be eligible for a telework schedule once onboarding into position is complete and with supervisor approval.
Primary Purpose of Position
Provide reception for the Department of Counseling as well as serve as apublic contact for both students and other on campus personnel. Provide support to assist with the following functions: managing department budgets, faculty travel arrangements, scheduling and maintaining counseling labs, and maintain office supplies. Assist with course schedule building and class permitting during the academic year and summer sessions.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from high school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

University Preferred Qualifications:

Graduation from high school, or completion of its equivalency, and one year of office/clerical work experience; or an equivalent combination of training/experience.
Essential Job Duties

Other Work Responsibilities Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
  • Graduation from high school, or completion of its equivalency, and one year of office/clerical work experience; or an equivalent combination of training/experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft and Google Suite (Intermediate skills with Excel or Google Sheets preferred).
  • Experience with WordPress (preferred).
  • Experience with office management (purchasing, scheduling, maintaining records preferred).
  • Strong attention to details needed.
