Responsibilities:

As a Advanced Aircraft Program Analyst with MTSI you will provide systems analysis and technical support to SAF/AQ (Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition). This position will be located on Joint Base Anacostia Bolling, Washington DC. Essential job functions will involve, but may not be limited to: Supporting the Program Element Monitor in his/her daily responsibilities, to include providing an operational perspective to assigned programs, program execution and technical analysis. You will also be responsible for performing program assessments, along with formulating acquisition and policy recommendations, especially related to the protection of advanced warfighting capability. You will also assist the PEM in communicating program status and issues to Congress, OSD, and Senior Service leaders

Qualifications:

Required Skills, and Experience:
  • 20+ Years of military Service experience.
  • Headquarters, Air Staff, or Pentagon Staff / Action Officer experience required (Air Staff PEM or DON Requirements Officer Experience Desired)
  • Understanding of Familiarity with the DoD Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System Required
  • 5+ Years of experience working with Special Access Programs (SAPs) Required
  • Masters in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Relevant Discipline required
  • Military aviation Operational, Test, or Engineering experience desired
  • Acquisition Experience on Major Defense Acquisition Programs (any Service); include Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management, Engineering, or Test and Evaluation Certifications Desired
  • Program Management Experience (non-acquisition) desired
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Relevant Technical Discipline.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
