Description: NSI requires a Senior Program Analyst to support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperations (DASA DE&C) - Country Program Desk (CPD) Officer Support. This position supports the US Army Foreign Military Sales (FMS) efforts in coordination and management support in Crystal City VA. The senior program analyst shall have the ability to write and develop policy, capable of intensive research that results in technical writing. This individual shall have knowledge of security assistance policies and laws and be knowledgeable in the laws and policies that govern export controls and technology transfer and well versed in the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM). In particular, DASA DE&C CPD shall be responsible for all aspects of the requirements for FMS Countries in INDOPACOM and possibly others. This individual should also have knowledge of the implementation of Excess Defense Articles (EDA).

Location: Crystal City, VA

Education: BS or BA degree

Allowable Substitution: Education requirement may be waived if the individual has had at least ten (10) years of applied security assistance experience while serving as a uniformed member of the armed services or a US government employee.

Experience: At least Four (4) years of experience in international affairs and/or national security policy and must be knowledgeable of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) process.

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is Required. Must be U.S. citizen.
