This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in-person at least two days per week.
The California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) Workforce Development Division is recruiting for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Organizational Development team as an Apprenticeship Programs Manager, responsible for management of CalHR's innovative Civil Service Apprenticeship Programs. The successful candidate will coordinate with other CalHR divisions and partnering organizations, provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance, evaluate statewide and departmental data to identify new opportunities, develop and deliver training, develop resources, and more. Positions at CalHR may be eligible for partial telework based on the operational needs of the position.
Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager II (Managerial), the Staff Services Manager I (Specialist) is responsible for management of Statewide Civil Service Apprenticeship Programs in the Workforce Development Division including, coordinating with partnering organizations, providing technical guidance, developing and delivering training, developing resources, etc.
