Assistant Professor (12 month) - Charleston Campu

West Virginia University School of Nursing Charleston Campus invites applications for an Assistant Professor in the Non-Tenure Clinical (Education) Track. This is a full-time, twelve-month, benefits-eligible position. This position will report to the Charleston Campus Chairperson.

Faculty Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Teaching in the RN-BSN and Graduate online courses
• Service commitments including committee and task force assignments
• Other assignments within the SON as deemed necessary by the Campus Chairperson

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in nursing or a related field
• Required to have unencumbered WV RN License by position start date
• Evidence of current experience in teaching sufficient to demonstrate professional competence
• Initial appointment requires: two years of professional nursing practice

Start Day: July 1, 2024
