Job Description

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Working under the supervision of the Associate Director of MH, has primary oversight of Adult Outpatient Services (Walk in; R AOPD 4th and 5th floors; KOT and IOT). Directs, supervises and coordinates all administrative functions and activities in the service, including goals, objectives and strategic planning. Critical focus: Human Development; Quality/Safety/PI; Access; Financial & Growth.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate personnel management activities including the scheduling of staff coverage, monitoring time and attendance, monitoring caseload/workload assignments with Discipline Heads
• Supervise clerical support staff and all front end registration and scheduling tasks
• Lead Performance Improvement activities
• Prepare budget requests, monitor and report expenditures
• Oversee activities directed toward environment of care activities for the service
• Track and trend data to drive Regulatory and Financial performance
• Demonstrate awareness of the organization safety plan
• Direct and support efforts toward Regulatory Compliance and continuous survey readiness
• Work collaboratively with RN/MD leads in AOPD, WIC & IOT
• Schedule regular Service Leadership meetings regarding operations of service, including all discipline and supervisor leads of area in such meetings
• Ensure all physical environmental and equipment needs of service addressed in timely manner, escalating when necessary
• Drive Managed Care change and Value Based Purchasing.

o Template Management: Oversee and coach template management

o Develop and monitor interdisciplinary standard work to improve operations and patient access

o Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health or a related discipline; and
2. Four (4) years of administrative experience and background at responsible management and administrative levels; or
3. An equivalent combination of training, educational background and experience in related fields and educational disciplines may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
