Responsibilities :
- Under the direction of the Director, AFC Equipment Installation, the selected candidate will be responsible for planning & coordinating field surveys and
- updating/creating as built drawings for the installation of all Automated Fare Collection (AFC) equipment; managing the inspection of all AFC equipment installations,
- including Turnstiles, MetroCard Vending Machines, ADA Farecard Access Systems, railings & gates. The selected candidate will also coordinate with the AFC Maintenance office to ensure the functionality of all AFC equipment in all control areas. Responsibilities will also include: providing AFC work plans; tracking
- upcoming AFC projects; maintaining departmental tools such as databases to forecast future work assignments on a weekly and monthly basis, and tracking and
- monitoring employee training.
Education and Experience :
- Associate Staff Analyst
- A master's degree from an accredited college or university in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies, or a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, and one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, labor relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, fiscal management, or in a related area; Or
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and three years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas described in '1' above.
- Staff Analyst I-II
- A master's degree from an accredited college or university in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies, or a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school; Or

Desired Skills :
- Professional experience utilizing Bentley MicroStation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint .
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Civil, Electrical and Communication standards and practices.
- Knowledge of the NYCT Subway System.
- Knowledge of NYCT Rules and Regulations.
- Ability to read drawings, schematics and specifications.
- Knowledge of installation techniques of electronic equipment.
- Excellent work ethic and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
