Your Role
As the Sales Lead, you deliver a luxury client experience by coaching Client Advisors in
partnership with the Sales Manager. You effectively implement the business priorities and
objectives while maintaining the highest merchandising standards. In this role, you report to the
Sales Manager and work within a Neiman Marcus retail store location.
What You'll Do
People
• Communicates expectations, provides floor supervision to associate behaviors, and
reinforces accountability for performance and productivity
• In partnership with the Sales Manager, facilitates ongoing Associate Performance
Management, career development, coaching and feedback discussions.
• Coordinates with Sales Manager to manage Associate scheduling and floor coverage while
considering Associate schedules (e.g. breaks, time off) with sensitivity to time off, promotional
calendar, and business needs.
• Ensures an inclusive culture by creating safe work environment, monitoring compliance to
policies, and reinforcement of NMG people programs and values.
Customer Experience
• Champion NMG culture and values, and manage team to create friendly, welcoming
atmosphere where we are delivering luxury every day.
• Role model and oversee exceptional service and client experience building skills.
• Execute all client experience strategies in-store in partnership with the Sales Manager and
Store Leadership to achieve strategic goals.
• Maintain and model positive and productive relationships with brand partners, customers,
merchants, etc.
Business Ownership
• Actively maintains selling floor standards, processes new receipts, replenishes stock,
completes contest entry and supports stockroom organization
• Drives towards the achievement of maximum sales growth in line with company vision in
partnership with other functional leads for department
What You Bring
• 3-4 years of retail and/or customer service supervisory experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven track record achieving business results
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• "Win together" mentality
• Basic proficiency with MS Office Product Suite, advanced proficiency preferred
• Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10
pounds
• Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business need, which will
include evenings, weekends, and holidays
