About the Agency:
The Virginia Department of Military Affairs State Team provides professional and responsive state support functions to the Adjutant General of Virginia, the Virginia National Guard, the Virginia Air Guard, and the Virginia Defense Force in order to ensure their ability to support and defend the United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of State/federal policies and procedures regarding cooperative agreements, real property, and military construction;
Competency in use of spreadsheets and database applications;
Detailed knowledge of the General Terms and Conditions (Grants and Cooperative Agreements) and Appendix 7 - ARNG Training Support Systems (TSS) Programs;
Ability to research, interpret and implement State, Federal, and Army regulations and policies;
Ability to provide detailed procurement services, prepare budgets, and manage funds;
Ability to effectively interface with Federal Resource Management counterparts for analysis and management of budgets;
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Possess excellent record keeping abilities;
Working knowledge of computers and Windows based software programs;
Must have a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
