Business Manager/Chief of Staff (data background)

Insight Global is looking for a Corporate and Finance Business Manager to join one of our most prominent Aset Management client and sit in NYC three days/week in office. This person will be joining the Technology department and will be responsible for overseeing business operations and strategic initiatives within tech. This person will identify growth/improvement opportunities for the Technology division, oversee forecasting/financial analytics to align with budgetary goals, and prepare/present financial reports. There will also be large parts of the day focused on operations efficiency and project management across the technology division from inception to completion, including after-action reviews. This person should be a strong leader that fosters a collaborate environment and is an advocate for their team while building a strong relationship/open communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

* 5-10 years of experience in business management within a technology-driven organization

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field

*Strong background in data engineering and a deep understanding of data infrastructure, databases, and cloud services in relation to supporting the organization's data needs

* Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and forecasting

* Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully leading end to end project strategy, governance and risk management

* Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems within technology product development and lifecycle management

* Proficiency in relevant business software and tools (OneString, Daptive, Jira, Workday, Peoplesoft, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Large-scale finance project delivery

* MBA or higher education degree
