The Office of the CEO is seeking a collaborative, intellectually curious, execution-oriented self-starter to join the team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has the passion and dedication to work to the highest standards.

In addition to supporting the CEO and the Chief of Staff in day-to-day responsibilities, this position partners with colleagues across the organization on special projects and will be exposed to a breadth of key enterprise initiatives.

As such, you must demonstrate exceptional organizational and communications skills (verbal and written) and a high degree of professionalism in working with diverse groups of people, including employees, leaders (including our Operating and Management Committees), Board members and external partners.

Trust, discretion and sound judgement are paramount as this position frequently handles confidential information. In addition, the right person will enjoy working both independently and as a team player.

The base salary range for this position is $67,000 - $100,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Preparing briefing materials for the CEO (including research and financial analysis)
• Partnering with functions to drive key initiatives (e.g. finance, commercial businesses, communications, IT, HR, etc.)
• Developing presentations and memos for meetings or events involving the CEO
• Supporting the Chief of Staff with administrative and ad hoc duties (e.g., meeting coordination, document management, etc.)
• This role is expected to be onsite at our new corporate headquarters in midtown 5 days per week (Monday-Friday)

Qualifications

Bachelors degree
• 2+ years of working experience in an office environment
• Agile in learning new technologies and experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within the financial services industry
