Description

  • Responsible for using knowledge of software programs and business strategies to help the district maximize productivity and communication. Analyst will possess business skills, technical skills and have an ability to support multiple high-level projects under pressure. Analyst should have experience with various reporting tools (SQL, ORACLE PL/SQL, Microsoft Suite including Excel).
  • The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, is analytical, detail oriented and possesses the ability to work with inner-departmental teams including Ed Tech Infrastructure, Student Applications, InfoSecurity, Client Support Services, and Software development as well as cross-functional teams such as School Leadership and other central departments. Should also be self-motivated individual who can produce high level work in a remote work environment and require a low degree of supervision.
  • Lead user acceptance testing and QA testing of new system functionality.
  • Assessment and Resolution of Tier II Incidents and Service Request.
  • Provide tech support to cross-functional teams within the Ed Tech organization, and to external clients when required.
  • Develop and deploy metrics and reports to answer client needs.
  • Translate complex or ambiguous problems into requirements for developers.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolutions of data and application integrity issues.
  • Proactively and independently work with stakeholders to create use cases and end user documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, and developers to facilitate user adoption to newly implemented applications or functions.
  • Maintain and update technical documents and procedures within department adopted platform.
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 2+ years directly related experience.
  • Technical Skills with various reporting tools (SQL, ORACLE PL/SQL, Microsoft Suite).
  • Problem-solving.
  • Effective Communication.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Strong project management skills.
