Job Description

Tour 1 -Midnight-8a
- Identify patients using the Check 12 approach.
- Enroll patients via Biometric Palm Scanning during mini-registration and registration process.
- Generate patient wristbands and place the band on the patient's wrist.
- Interview patients thoroughly to ensure the accurate collection and entry of demographic, pharmacy and insurance information.
- Explain and obtain e-signature for General Consent, HIPAA Notice of Privacy Protection and other consent forms.
- Scan all signed consent forms into the electronic medical record.
- Orient and educate all admitted patients about their rights as inpatients. Provide patients with complete admission packet in adherence with H+H Compliance Office and by other external governing bodies.
- Provide clerical support to the medical providers in the Emergency Department. This includes answering phones, placing and connecting pages, taking messages, scanning documents and performing other clerical tasks as required.
- Assist providers by scheduling follow-up primary care and specialty care appointments in Bellevue outpatient clinics or in other H+H facilities after verifying insurance.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or designee.

Minimum Qualifications
1. A high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and
2. Six (6) months of full-time satisfactory clerical experience and/or experience interacting with the public, such as processing sales; taking, processing, and delivering orders; obtaining and dispensing information; listening to and resolving customers concerns, problems, and complaints; and/or performing related customer service activities.
