Cloud Migration Project Manager

An Insight Global client is looking for a Project Manager to join their data governance team as they are in the process of building out a data platform with AWS and Snowflake, with your focus being on the migration of data to the cloud. This Project Manager will be brought on to help organize and drive this initiative forward while working closely with the other lines of business, the internal data team and peer Business Analysts. They have defined and established 5 current workstreams and need guidance from a project manager to help run both individual workstream meetings as well as collective project status meetings to highlight the barriers and risks we might be running into and plans to move forward. You will be leveraging a hybrid Waterfall and Agile approach to create a high-level but comprehensive project plan with detailed tasks for the teams, while tracking the progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
Prior experience working directly in an AWS and Snowflake environment will be prioritized. Any Microsoft PM tooling experience is welcomed.

Pay rate range will vary between 50-75/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experince in Project Management within the cloud and date space.
- Prior experience overseeing cloud migration projects.
o Ideally leveraging AWS and Snowflake to understand best practices for these migrations.
- Ability to establish and host workstream and status meetings across teams to then build out project statuses, define tasks, and track accurately.
- Microsoft tooling exposure.
