Why does the job exist?

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support for statewide investigators for Construction Industries Division.

How does it get done?

The position will keep investigation files in compliance per requirements, maintain historic preservation, and archival preparation. Will assist the investigations team with data entry, filing, and scanning. This position will also help support administrative staff with daily tasks, administrative processes and other duties as assigned.

Who are the customers?

The administrative staff for Construction Industries Division's compliance team and legal staff.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate must possess basic office skills and utilize office equipment. Proficient in computer software; Microsoft office including word and Excel. Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Candidate must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.

Minimum Qualification

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university OR completion of at least four semesters (or equivalent) at an accredited college or university within the last two (2) years.

Employment Requirements

Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a valid driver's license.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting with a computer and minimum phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.
