The Commercial Solar Technical Services Manager delivers high-value technical diligence support and offers solutions to mitigate technical and commercial challenges encountered by our clients through managing a multi-disciplinary team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams on solar projects of all scales
Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources
Improve standards of practice to align with industry change and improve efficiency and consistency
Conduct subject matter expert reviews for PV solar projects
Execute assignments, including report writing, data, and industry research, analysis, and modeling
Provide business development support, thought leadership contributions, and improving standards of practice

Required Skills & Experience

Requirements:
5+ years experience specifically PV solar technology required; 7+ years in the energy sector preferred
Experience with commercial solar project management required; Experience with computer programming such as Helioscope preferred
Experience with solar resource and performance modeling, construction and operations
Experience with due diligence and risk assessment process
Experience with project contracts including power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, supply contracts, balance of plan construction contracts, and/or operations and maintenance contracts
Experience in proposal writing with an emphasis on business development and a bachelors degree preferred
Experience in additional renewable technologies (outside of solar PV) preferred
Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment and a capability to prioritize tasks
Detail-oriented, critical thinking, and strong interpersonal skills
Exceptional data management, research, and analytical skills
Ability to work with and understand technical concepts while also being able to communicate them to varied audiences
