Torin Consulting is seeking a full-time or part-time, Compliance Officer/Commercial Program Manager with knowledge of complex commercial structures and regulatory requirements to manage highly sensitive, multi-million-dollar programs that facilitate the procurement and transportation of materials and services worldwide in support of Sponsor requirements. Compliance officer will shape the development and operation of organizations and advise the senior leadership of a fast-paced, high-visibility office on adapting and merging requirements with internal and external regulations and controls. Candidates must have knowledge of internal Sponsor policies and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage programs that facilitate the global procurement and transportation of materials and services
  • Coordinate start-ups and closures to enhance program capabilities
  • Draft and coordinate required documentation, to include approval memos, real estate authorizations, contract approval delegations, waivers, input for annual reports and requests for information from external entities
  • Negotiate and monitor facilities leases, approvals
  • Coordinate requirements with other offices
  • Manage employee contracts, benefits and separations
  • Conduct briefings within and outside of the office regarding the office programs.
  • Perform administrative compliance reviews of projects and advise management on status and significant issues.

WORK LOCATION: Mclean/Chantilly

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or 2 years relevant Sponsor work experience in similar position
  • Applicants must have prior Sponsor experience and understand client's processes and regulations
  • Strong briefing and writing skills are a must as well as the ability to work well with a team or individually with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task while managing competing priorities and plan and organize tasks independently.
  • Work independently with minimal daily direction and be a team player.
  • Strong written and oral communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
