Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality. As the Program Manager of Restricted Products, you will be part of a team consisting of policy managers, investigation ops, and program managers to drive cross-functional collaboration in the design and management of projects to ensure balance between growth and sustainability of the platform in each market.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify compliance requirements, risks and manage mitigations by establishing policies, processes, and mechanisms.
- Work cross-functionally to help achieve execution against regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Deep dive complex regulator topics including new technology concepts, complex certification schemas, various supply chain models and complex trade barriers (product compliance, licenses, and encryption).
- Drive compliance program integration with TikTok Shop business teams.
- Develop and oversee change management and nearly continuous process improvement - including input to audit and oversight mechanisms.
- Educate leadership on the appropriate execution of compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
-Currently pursuing a Masters degree
-Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements. Capable of building reports and analyses from scratch
-Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to communicate clearly at all leadership levels
-Strong business judgment and analytical thinking

Preferred Qualifications :
-2+ years of professional experience in consumer product safety, compliance or regulatory research fields; Expertise in food/toys/beauty quality operation or regulation policy is a plus
-Experienced coordinating high-profile, complicated incidents within a highly complex environment such as multi-national corporations (preferred)
-Experience with E-commerce compliance requirements and internet governance management, with a certain level of business sensitivity and risk awareness is preferred
-Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
