Description

  • Oversee and facilitate professional development and activities associated with LEAD programming.
  • Collaborate with Executive Director to develop presentations for district and network use in professional development sessions, meetings, and for district reporting purposes.
  • Develop, lead and implement strategic activities to build cohesiveness LEAD programming.
  • Analyze data utilizing defined but different processes; and compile accurate and detailed reports to assist with decision making and strategy development.
  • Prepare and maintain all records for LEAD professional development and events.
  • Design and manage communications and tools to facilitate information and updates to mentor principals, teacher leader interns and district personnel.
  • Utilize adult learning understandings to create cohesive, effective, and efficient interactions and professional development sessions.
  • Utilize problem solving skills to identify issues and assist with the creation of action plans and follow-up.
  • Complete ad hoc assignments as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
  • Organize and communicate information and concepts for various presentations for a variety of audiences.
  • Provide knowledge and support to the Executive Directors in relation to their work within the department on a wide range of topics and LEAD programming.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (USA equivalent) in a directly related field, Master's Degree preferred.
  • Valid Texas teacher certificate preferred.
  • Five (5) years of directly related teaching experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse community, district staff members, parents and the public.
  • Ability to present to audiences of varying sizes.
  • Ability to work with data of varied types and/or purposes.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks successfully to meet established timelines and deadlines.
  • Flexibility to independently work with others in a wide variety of circumstances.
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Oracle.
  • Excellent communication in written and oral form and interpersonal skills.
