The Curriculum Analyst provides assistance to and reports to the Director of Curriculum Analysis/Operations. He/she also works with the Assistant Registrar for Academic Curriculum to represent the Registrar's Office by providing assistance to students, faculty, and staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all completion plans (degrees, certificates, and minors). Responsible for managing the inbox and corresponding with academic administration, faculty, and staff concerning questions regarding the completion plans. Assists in the annual review of all completion plans (degrees, certificates, and minors). Applies course substitutions and exceptions in the Course Registration Tool. Reviews and troubleshoots individual student issues in the Degree Completion Plan Audit system. Programs, verifies, and maintains degree requirements in the Degree Completion Plan Audit system based upon approved academic policies, legislation, and standards. Occasionally required to assist with events outside of normal business hours, including but not limited to Commencement exercises. Completes other tasks as assigned by the Director of Curriculum Analysis/ Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year of Registrar or other relevant experience is required. Strong computer skills are required, including basic knowledge of query languages like SQL. Must possess well-developed communication skills with an emphasis on written communication. Must be proficient in academic processes and regulations and how they apply to student situations. Must be capable of high-level reasoning for solving complex problems. Must be capable of advanced logic-based decision-making.
