IMMEDIATE opening for a Data Analyst (Finance) who will provide staff leadership and project management for a broad range of critical strategic business initiatives including program planning, process improvement, and special projects as requested by executive leadership.
  • Provide analytical support to one or more projects. Organize project tasks, structure information collection activities, and set timelines for completion.
  • Analyze data, provide recommendations, and make formal presentations to multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Develop new approaches for finding additional needed information.
  • Identifying alternative solutions to issues in the reasonably complex project(s) and understanding how the outcome will affect multiple areas/departments.
  • Make sound decisions on best use of resources in support of medical center priorities and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain assigned databases and reports in Excel and other platforms, for internal and external consulting.
  • Pull data and develop reports with minimal supervision or direction.
  • Develop and recommend effective business improvement initiatives.
  • All duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor Degree in HR, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience in a related field required
  • 2+ years of experience preferred working with data, reports and/or accounting
  • Strong understanding of the nursing profession and healthcare industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of healthcare finances, including hospital expenses, labor and revenue

Preferred:
  • Master Degree
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Ability to solve complex issues
  • Experience in a progressive, rapidly changing environment
  • Understanding and management of inventory control experience
