Data Analyst

A client is looking for a Data Analyst to sit hybrid; two days per week onsite in New Haven, CT and three days remote. This person will be spending 75% of their day performing data analysis, and 25% of their day meeting with stakeholders, understanding ad-hoc requests, presenting data findings, etc. The data they will be analyzing will be operational metrics based on data exported from Salesforce in order to assess how quickly tickets are being closed and requests are processed, as well as data made up of understanding different categories of spend. This could include vendor-specific spend or assessing different volumes or services being used. This person will be expected to present data findings, and have a curious-mind in order to brainstorm solutions or improvements within Procurement or data-driven initiatives based on data found. This Analyst may also be involved in a system integration project that the organization is considering. They will need to have strong communication skills in order to work directly with business stakeholders. This person needs to be comfortable with a pay rate between $25-28/hr based on experience level.

Required Skills & Experience

2-3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
Strong experience creating reports and visualizations with PowerBI
Strong experience doing Pivot Tables and VLookups in Excel
Experience writing SQL queries to pull data
Experience presenting data findings to business stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with or understanding of Artificial Intelligence
Experience with Alteryx for more advanced analytics
Experience with Python
Experience working in data analytics for a Procurement organization
