This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Hillcrest and remote.

DESCRIPTION

The Data Analyst II will use solid knowledge in research methods, data collection, data storage, data transfer, and data analysis to provide project management and data quality assurance. The incumbent will apply acquired skills to provide principal investigator support by using solid understanding of neurobehavioral assessment, mood disorders, and the laboratory data. Additionally, the incumbent will manage internal data/resource request applications, serve as a liaison between principal investigators and the HNRP data management group, and continually re-evaluate technical needs for new developments to support evolving data management needs of research projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Six years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus two years of related experience/training.
  • Knowledge of data management systems, practices and standards.
  • Knowledge relating to logical data design, data warehouse design, data integration or the management of web content or other unstructured data.
  • Ability to prepare simple data models under guidance of more senior professionals.
  • Familiarity with important types of data models such as logical / relational models, dimensional models and document models.
  • Intermediate knowledge of relevant rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
  • Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $69,500 - $123,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $33.29 - $59.15

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
