Position Summary
Radiology Associates of South Florida is seeking an experienced, board-certified diagnostic radiologist with an academic background to join our collaborative practice and serve as the Program Director of the Baptist Health Diagnostic Radiology Residency. Reporting to the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) for academic effort, the Program Director will have responsibility and authority for program administration, and operations including:
The practice provides a full range of high-quality imaging and professional radiology services. The primary focus will be on the area of expertise as it relates to the candidate's subspecialty training. Enjoy state-of-the-art equipment at all facilities and be a part of a collaborative practice model that allows for support dedicated by subspecialized radiologists.
The practice offers a very generous compensation package, PTO, moonlighting opportunities to earn additional compensation and excellent health, life, disability, and malpractice insurance coverage.

Position Summary
Radiology Associates of South Florida is seeking an experienced, board-certified diagnostic radiologist with an academic background to join our collaborative practice and serve as the Program Director of the Baptist Health Diagnostic Radiology Residency. Reporting to the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) for academic effort, the Program Director will have responsibility and authority for program administration, and operations including:
- Resident teaching, scholarly activity, resident recruitment, evaluation, promotion, wellbeing, and disciplinary action.
- Directing all academic aspects of the program, including designing curricula that meet the requirements of the ACGME and sponsoring institution.
- Overseeing the academic activities of residents at all sites pertaining to the program, including rotations to other facilities, to ensure the quality of the curriculum and work environment.
- Ensuring the program maintains accurate and complete program files in compliance with ACGME and sponsoring institution policies including personnel files, duty hours, evaluations, and case logs.
- Selecting, evaluating, and coaching faculty members and program administrators to support the program.
- Overseeing prompt program response to requests for information from the ACGME, Board of Medicine, and internally from the DIO/Graduate Medical Education Committee on matters including but not limited to changes in resident/fellow status, additions and deletions of training sites and faculty and performance metrics.
- Directing all aspects of the resident/fellow training cycle including recruitment, selection, evaluation, promotion, and graduation.
- Developing schema for evaluating resident/fellow performance and program effectiveness
- Ensuring satisfactory scholarly activity by faculty and residents/fellows
- Maintaining current knowledge and compliance with requirements and communicating updates to faculty and administrators.
- Ensuring the program's compliance with Baptist Health's institutional policies and procedures (e.g., Grievance, Discipline, Moonlighting, Duty Hours, etc.).
- Being a role model of professionalism, high quality patient care, educational excellence, and scholarly approach to work.
- Representing the program on internal and external academic committees and forums.
- Proposes budgets for staffing, equipment, and supplies. Participates in the annual budget process and produces variance/justification reports as requested.
- Ensures the quality of the clinical learning environment including supervision, integration of the residents/fellows into care teams, and resident/fellow wellbeing.

- Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
- Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
- Completed one year of post-residency fellowship training in any subspecialty.
- Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of FL.
