Shift : Days; Variable Shift - must be able to work day and evening shifts along with weekends and holidays

The role you'll contribute:
  • Pharmacy Residency Program Director is responsible for direction, conduct, oversight, and growth of the residency program. AdventHealth Tampa PGY1 pharmacy residency program currently serves two (2) PGY1 residents.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Actively performs all pharmacy functions and maintains active proficiency in standard work parameters.
• Oversees appropriate utilization of medication automation, technology, and computer systems.
• Accurately oversees the management of medication inventories and the preparation and dispensing of patient - specific medication doses.
• Completes critical medication order scrutiny, drug profile review, and patient monitoring to identify, prevent, or mitigate medication-related problems.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or other advanced pharmacy degree.
• PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or three years of clinical pharmacy experience.
• Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Applicable State Pharmacy License.

ASHP Residency Program Director experience OR ASHP Residency Preceptor for at least 3 years
