Description
SAIC is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support the United States Air Force in bridging intelligence community collection architectures, capabilities, and technologies with DOD operational requirements. This effort will deliver rapid, innovative, and cost-effective capabilities to meet urgent warfighter need, and will include bringing space capabilities to bear cross all warfighting domains spanning intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, combat applications, battlespace awareness, command and control, multi-level security and mission programs. This next generation approach shall employ the latest advancements in geolocation and tagging, sensor and data fusion, unconventional / asymmetric warfare, situational awareness, cyberspace and spectrum warfare, large data analytics, data lake, jamming technologies, sensor technologies, geo-registration to deliver a cutting-edge approach.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing program management oversight, team direction, program administration, and quality assurance. The candidate will perform customer-facing duties to enable the successful oversight and strategic planning of the entirety of a task order including supporting cost-effective methods for providing testing and evaluation support, and prototype demonstration, as requested, and management of all task order projects.
Key Responsibilities:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. Identify and analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain agile development documentation and diagrams/models via MBSE tools.
- Experience working in an Agile team/framework is desired.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to a diverse team.
- Develop and implement a team strategy based on customer requirements and direction.
- Oversee the facilitating and delegation of individuals to support customer priorities and initiatives.
- Monitor the program's cost, schedule, and budget.
- Be the interface between SAIC and the customer.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree and 18 years or more experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing proposed methodologies and approaches of projects related to Air Force Research, Development, Test and Evaluation.
- Minimum 10 years of experience providing manpower utilization, standards, problem resolution, and employee relations (including subcontractors, cost, budget, and managing to milestones).
- Possess a Program Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management, Level III Certification.
- Five years of experience working in an AF acquisition or Intelligence Community project management position leading integrated teams consisting of engineers, analysts, and project management personnel.
- Ten or more years of program management experience in R&D or rapid acquisition development projects.
- Bachelor's degree in general Engineering or in a specialized engineer technology technical discipline (e.g. Electrical, Engineering Technology, Mechanical, etc.)
- Experience integrating projects.
- Experience providing successful project transition (from prototype to sustainment)
