POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the company's Nursing Services in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all time.
Hours: Full Time - Monday Through Friday - 8 am to 4 pm

Essential Duties:
- Responsible for the supervision and oversight of all patient care services including the development of personnel qualifications and the assignment of personnel
- Manages agency nursing personnel and contracted services
- Follows up with patients to assess patient satisfaction with the company services
- Directs in-services, case conferences, and staff meetings
- Ensures that the Agency operates in compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation standards
- Ensures that the policies and procedures reflect quality and safe delivery of home health and home care services
- Maintains and implements standards of care
- Represents home health on various committees
- Ensures quality care that is consistent with organizational and regulatory standards
- Performs home visits and in-services as needed
- Assumes ultimate responsibility for outcomes related to the performance of the nursing staff and professional development
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
- Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
- Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements
- Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
Position Requirements & Competencies:
- Strong Preferred: HCHB Super User, Experience with external audits & Documented ability to grow Home Health census
- Bachelor degree in Nursing required from an accredited college or university
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Delaware.
- Must possess a valid and unrestricted Driver's License, proof of insurance, and clean driving record
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
