Responsibilities
The Research Coordinator for Health Research Training will work with faculty, trainees, and other key decision makers to support institution-wide research training programs (e.g., T32, K12, R25) and translational workforce development activities. This includes maintaining a robust database of research mentors and mentees, disseminating programs to appropriate parties, and managing administrative and logistic tasks in support of research productivity at FSU.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.
This position requires successful completion of the eSPEAR Certification or ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of hire. https://www.research.fsu.edu/research-offices/sra/resources/training/espear/
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree (MPH, MPA, or MLS) and experience with ACCESS databases preferred.

Responsibilities
The Research Coordinator for Health Research Training will work with faculty, trainees, and other key decision makers to support institution-wide research training programs (e.g., T32, K12, R25) and translational workforce development activities. This includes maintaining a robust database of research mentors and mentees, disseminating programs to appropriate parties, and managing administrative and logistic tasks in support of research productivity at FSU.
- Research Training Support: Manage all administrative and programmatic needs related to research training, such as maintaining an updated database of mentors and mentees, scheduling meetings, data tracking and analysis, creating reports, dissemination of scientific accomplishments, etc. Projects that will be supported are KL2/K12, TL1/T32, and R25. Other related duties as assigned.
- Translational Workforce Development program (TWD) Leadership Assistance: Serve as liaison between FSU's TWD Program and partner offices. Coordinate working groups, trainings, and meetings. Work closely with the UF and FSU Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) staff to ensure that activities are aligned with broader CTSA programming. Other related duties as assigned.
- Administration: Complete administrative tasks for health research training. Examples include scheduling meetings and events; taking minutes and following-up on action items; dissemination of programs. Promote scientific accomplishments via press releases, social media, etc. Support of Institutional Review Board submissions and manage Faculty Expertise and Advancement System (FEAS+) profiles for program leadership; host FEAS trainings. Process p-card reconciliations. Manage event logistics, including ordering, coordination, and purchasing. Create and manage shared folders. Book accommodations and arrangements, catering, and honoraria. Maintain updated repository of institutional resources. Other duties, as assigned.
