Summary/Objective
As the North America Talent Development and Acquisition Director, you will establish and facilitate a talent development culture and strategic plan for the North America Zone based on current and future gaps and opportunities. The Talent Director will play a key role in developing strategies to attract, develop and retain top talent to support the organization's growth and success. This individual will oversee talent acquisition processes, performance management, employee development, and succession planning initiatives. Your initiatives, programs and learning approaches will align with Safran's business needs and be in tune with our culture. You will define and deliver the North America Talent Development plan that is engaging and most importantly centered on building the capabilities needed to develop and prepare our employees for future career development and mobilities, while continuing to meet the needs of the business.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
• Design, promote and follow an action plan to strengthen mobilities all across the zone, giving priority first to mobility within the US
• Create a strong network with the Talent Managers and Talent Acquisition leaders in each company in the US
• Develop and maintain a succession planning processes to identify and develop high-potential employees for key roles within the organization.
• Meet regularly with company CEOs, HR Leaders and their respective high-potential employees to discuss mobility and career growth
• Work closely with senior leadership to assess future talent needs and build a pipeline of talent for critical positions
• Identify talent strengths and gaps within the North America zone
• Accelerate the readiness of high potential talent and bench strength for key roles - creating an engaging, high-accountability talent experience
• Develop and deliver a robust talent development calendar for the North America zone
• Facilitate meetings, webinars, special events, and customized engagements for talent development
• Design and deliver new Talent Development initiatives while strengthening existing programs such as the North America Mentor Program, Safran's university Ambassador network, and Women@Safran
• Oversee the Safran Entry Level programs ensuring we attract and select high quality employees
• Administer and monitor the North America Professional Development Review (annual performance and development review) campaign
• Calculate employee engagement metrics such as retention and turnover rates and develop action plans where needed
• Facilitate open communication and positive relations with Safran corporate leadership
• Develop and implement new initiatives to strengthen Safran's commitments to Diversity and Inclusion and for Equal Opportunity
• Develop and implement employer branding strategies to attract top talent and position the organization as an employer of choice

Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Additional description
• Lead the organization's talent acquisition strategy and processes, including sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top talent across all levels and functions
• Partner with HR Leaders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies

Organization:
You will lead 1-2 direct reports, and work collaboratively with over 40 HR professionals and their respective executives in Safran businesses

Possibility to work two days remotely per week.

Candidate skills & requirements
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent management, talent acquisition, or related HR roles.
• Proven record of success in developing and implementing talent management programs and initiatives.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to make effective presentations and develop influential relationships that will inspire leadership to seek your consultation and partnership to identify world class talent solutions
