Pay
This position is an hourly position at pay grade 109.

Attendance
Non-rotating 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Overview
The Engineering Project Specialist is responsible for assisting the construction team with project document control to include processing, tracking, and filing, managing the project closeout process, and coordinating project meetings.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and attend project meetings and take minutes.

• Assist with review, correction, and processing of monthly pay applications and change orders.

• Track, process and file daily progress reports, photos, videos, submittals, RFI's and all other construction documentation.

• Perform project closeout procedures and document control.

• Prepare and track task orders and delivery orders.

• May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates Degree

• Minimum of two (2) years of related experience

• A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered

• A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Basis of Rating

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
