Job Description:

The Hitchcock Field & Fork Pantry is dedicated to building a more food-secure campus for the UF community. The Field & Fork Pantry a support program within Campus Assistance and Resources for Empowerment (CARE) of the Dean of Students Office. We are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, motivated students to support the daily operations of the pantry. Those applying will need to feel comfortable engaging with guests in a confidential and respectful manner.

Expected Salary:

$12.00

Minimum Requirements:

This position is open to students with federal work study and available to work on the main campus in Gainesville.

Students must maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA and be enrolled for at least six credit hours a semester.

Must be able to commit to 8 hours per week to this position.

Must be able to attend any required trainings and pantry staff meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on a team and connect with others easily/outgoing.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Strong interest in food security, social services, food access, and/or food systems.
