Financial Analyst

Piper Enterprise Solutions is currently looking for a Financial Analyst to work a Department of Defense consulting company in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Responsibilities for the Financial Analyst include:
• Assist SAMD divisions with thorough review of financials including:

o budget forecasts for salaries, identify, track, and forecast technical assistant and additional funding sources in accordance with the Security Assistance Management Manual.
• Pulling the status of funds reports.
• Verify accuracy of funding lines and work.
• Support financial requests, advising on general financial requests related to execution/procurement

Qualifications for the Financial Analyst include:
• Bachelors Degree and 2 years of experience in finance.
• Past exposure to DOD and FMS computer software and databases.
• Active financial management experience (tracking available, obligated funding, reconciliation and un-liquidated obligations.
• Financial analyst/budget analyst support to a DOD site.

Compensation for the Financial Analyst includes:
• Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000 based on experience
