Financial Analyst - Secret Cleared

Piper Companies is looking for a Financial Analyst to join a government contractor, working onsite at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Harford County. This is a contract to hire opportunity with a great client that is looking to move quickly!

Essential Duties of theFinancial Analyst:

• Assist client by conducting a thorough review of financials to include budget forecasts for salaries, identify, track, and forecast technical assistance
• Provide briefing support for program reviews, start-of-work meetings, In-Process Reviews (IPRs) and other meetings
• Verify accuracy of funding lines and work to determine and reconcile what data is missing or inaccurate
• Financial line closure of FMS cases including reconciliation of un-liquidated obligations

Qualifications of theFinancial Analyst:

• Bachelors in related field and 2+ years relevant technical experience required
• Experience in providing financial analyst/budget analyst support to an on-site DoD contract
• Experience working with DOD and FMS computer software and databases, such as: GFEBS, DSAMS, CISIL, CCOPES, LMP, CEA
• Experience working with Acquisitions for contract mods, MIPR adjustments, and funding adjustments
• Minimum Secret clearance required

Compensation for theFinancial Analyst:

• $70,000 - $80,000 (based on experience)
