Financial Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Financial Analyst in support of one of our clients in Athens, TN. This candidate will be working with the accounting & finance teams to provide support in month-end activities. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Account analyses, account reconciliations, journal entry creation, posting and review, inventory analyses, balance reconciliations, etc.

* Helping to prepare financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting documents and presentations

* Financial compliance reporting to include monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews

* Fixed asset monitoring, analysis, review, and reporting

* During the first 90 days this role will be mostly covering all AP responsibilities and helping with the reporting

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

* 5+ years of experience within a cost accounting and/or financial analyst role

* Experience working in a manufacturing environment

* Advanced experience analyzing data using Excel (e.g. sorting, pivot tables, comparisons, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience with one or more of the following:

o PowerBI

o SAP

o Fixed asset reconciliation and capital

o Intercompany reconciliations

o Balance sheet reconciliations
