Embracing teamwork with a positive mindset.
Willingness to learn all aspects of the department to include,
Tray Line Preparation-plating meals for patients; learning textures, allergies, and diets

Prepping-all needed items for tray line meals and patient units
Sanitation-washing any dishes used throughout the day using a dish machine and handwashing while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Cooking-assisting the production staff with cooking and any texture modifications needed for patients.
Delivering meals, snacks and beverages to units.

Minimum Qualifications

-The ability to read, write and follow specific instructions.
-Knowledge of or willingness to learn Facility and Food/Nutrition services policies and procedures.
-Learning all aspects of the work needed to provide for and meet all the patient's needs under our regulatory agencies.
-The ability to lift/carry heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, walk, and bend.

Additional Considerations

Previous industrial food service experience is beneficial.
