Job Duties

***OFFERING $8,000.00 SIGN ON BONUS FOR ELIGIBLE NEW HIRES***
This position will provide comprehensive psychological assessment and psychotherapeutic services to patients at PGH, serve as a leader within a treatment team setting, as well as participate on projects and committees as needed. This position will collaborate with other departments within PGH to development support plans for patients. This position is pivotal in monitoring patients' progress towards meeting goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited university or school of psychology required
Eligible for Licensure in Clinical Psychology in Virginia
Training and experience with adult mentally ill population
Familiarity with a variety of treatment modalities
Familiarity with neuropsychological, personality, and emotional assessment techniques

Additional Considerations

Licensed psychologist in VA preferred
Training and experience with severely mentally ill and/or geriatric and/or forensic populations preferred
Previous demonstrated experience in behavioral treatment preferred
Training and experience with geriatric-specific instruments preferred
