Team Introduction

The Product Strategy and Operations (PSO) organization, and is responsible for building ad campaign delivery solutions for advertisers on TikTok.

As the intern for Lead Ads, you will partner closely with the product team and regional teams to support development of the overall strategic direction and assess key gaps in our Lead Ads offerings. Additionally, you will also serve as the liaison between the monetization team and the user side team, representing advertiser needs and influencing the organic search product roadmap.

Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below:

Tuesday May 27 (Memorial Day May 26)
Monday, June 9
Monday, June 23

We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).

Responsibilities
- Support market assessment, quantitative analysis and qualitative feedback, represent all regions internally with PM and Engineering teams, and define the go-to-market strategy for TikTok's ever-evolving ads product, with a focus on Search Ads.
- Partner closely with regional counterparts, sales teams, and other key stakeholders, to deeply understand pain points, form business requirements, and prioritize solutions to influence the direction of product development.
- Bridge the gap between the monetization team and the user side team, representing advertiser needs and influencing the organic search product roadmap to create a brand-suitable environment for the long-term success of monetization.
- You will be instrumental in setting the go-to-market strategy by region and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy.
- Plan and lead the successful adoption of alpha and beta programs for our Search Ads solutions.
- Communicate the value proposition of new products to all stakeholders and ensure that effective collateral and packages are created.
- Drive product adoption and usage rates by supporting key market strategy and effective product support.
- Build an understanding of the most nascent TikTok Search Ads solutions and leverage these products to achieve customer goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
-Currently pursuing a full-time MBA or related discipline.
-Experience within the digital advertising industry across search, marketplace, social, display, direct response, and/or ad networks with a keen understanding of Search Ads.
- Experience partnering with product teams to identify and bring to market solutions for sellers.
- Strong knowledge of sales and marketing processes.
- Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape of Lead Ads

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Lead Ads products
- Knowledge of advertiser needs for organic search and best practices
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results, developing and executing against global launch plans to bring products to market.
- A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change.
- A commercial mindset with experience building business cases from market research and analysis.
- Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
