Job Summary:

In partnership with the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Elevate is seeking top sales professionals

to drive group ticket sales for ACC Championship Events. The Group Sales Account Executive will be tasked with maximizing group sales revenue, consistently meeting sales goals and key performance metrics, and developing a robust pipeline of prospective clients. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who are passionate about sports, excel at relationship building, and are driven to achieve revenue targets through innovative group sales strategies.

A successful candidate will proactively cultivate relationships across diverse markets, including youth sports organizations, corporate groups, and other target audiences. They should be comfortable networking, conducting outreach, and establishing genuine business connections to keep ACC Championship Events top of mind for clients. This role demands strong communication skills, the ability to engage with various audience segments, and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Maximize group ticket sales and revenue for ACC Championship Events by executing sales calls, attending weekly meetings, and participating in community events, including youth sports tournaments and business networking functions.
  • Identify and develop new group sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and prospecting to build a robust pipeline of prospects, including youth sports organizations, corporate groups, and community organizations.
  • Strategically develop and enhance group sales programs by identifying new opportunities and delivering customized group ticket packages tailored to the needs of each client segment.
  • Achieve or surpass revenue targets through proactive sales strategies and effective relationship management.
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospective and existing clients to nurture relationships, maximize retention, and generate referral opportunities.
  • Enter and manage all prospect and customer information in the CRM platform to ensure efficient reporting and effective pipeline management.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with local organizations in each market to maximize group ticket sales.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to create and execute group sales promotions and campaigns.
  • Work assigned sales, promotional, and championship events, including outside of regular business hours, to develop new prospects and enhance the fan experience.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service for all prospects and clients to ensure a best-in-class experience.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude, coupled with a competitive drive to achieve success.
  • Support the execution of fan experience programs, client visits, and assist other departments as needed during all assigned Championship Events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 12 months of experience in professional or collegiate sports, with a strong background in group sales, preferably within sports or events.
  • Proven ability to engage with diverse audiences, from youth groups to corporate clients.
  • Self-motivated with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building authentic relationships and providing top-tier customer service.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple sales processes simultaneously.
  • Able to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to tackle day-to-day challenges effectively.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and a "get it done" attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook); experience with Archtics and Ticketmaster ticket systems is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
