The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD ("The HARRIS CENTER") is looking for a High Fidelity Clinical Team Lead to join our Texas Family First Prevention Services (TXFFPS) team. Under the general director of the Program Director VI, the High-Fidelity Wraparound Facilitators Clinical Team Leader provides supervision to the wraparound facilitators who are providing wraparound evidence-based services. In addition, they act as liaison collaborating with multiple key community systems that come together with the child, youth and family to create a highly individualized plan to address complex emotional needs. In addition, they provide ongoing evaluations and staff development for wraparound facilitators; interfacing with national wraparound expert consultants and providing overall program management. This position may require flexible working hours and involve travel. Supervision may be both field and clinic locations. Coverage may be required in the absence of downline employees or upper management.

Your role in Action:
  • Provides direct clinical training to assure facilitator's competency in all areas relating to the implementation of High-Fidelity Wraparound services.
  • Ensures all assessments are comprehensive, multi-systemic, and provide sufficient information to determine and provide appropriate behavioral health interventions for the child and/or youth and families.
  • Ensures that High Fidelity Wraparound plans include Trauma Informed and Patient Centered Models requirements.
  • Directs or conducts weekly group supervision for High-Fidelity Wraparound team to assure adherence to the High-Fidelity principles and process.
  • Ensures that facilitators provide direct ongoing intensive case management services through High-Fidelity Wraparound evidence based principles and practices.
  • Conducts individual supervision as needed to target wraparound facilitator's competency needs and to eliminate individual barriers to effective implementation of High-Fidelity wraparound methods.
  • Provide appropriate documentation of clinical effort to facilitate peer and supervisory input, and to meet all reporting and communication requirements of funding and referral sources.
  • Assures availability of on-call clinical and administrative support to clinicians 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
  • Ensures facilitators are accessible to clients when needed to promote engagement with all key participants.
  • Provides supportive and corrective feedback to staff to promote positive client outcomes.

What qualifications you will need:

Education:
  • Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent

Experience:
  • 3 years of related experience to include one (1) year paid supervisory experience in the field of psychology.
  • Four (4) years of experience as a High-Fidelity therapist can be substituted for one year of supervisory experience

Other Key Qualifications:
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), LMFT.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities :
  • Must be knowledgeable of computer systems and court procedures.
  • Must be able to manage staff effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • The High-Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator Clinical Supervisor should have significant clinical experience in treating serious antisocial behavior in youth, direct use of pragmatic (i.e., structural, strategic, and functional) family therapies.
  • The High-Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator Clinical Supervisor Leadership role includes hiring, performance evaluation, and holding supervisees accountable for performance.
  • The High-Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator Clinical Supervisor must have knowledge of family systems theory and application, social ecological theory and application, behavioral therapies theory and application, cognitive-behavioral therapy theory and application, pragmatic family therapies theory and application, child development research and its application in treatment, and social skills assessment and intervention.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the following areas of theory: Family systems, social ecological, behavioral and application, cognitive-behavioral and application, and pragmatic family therapies and applications.
  • Must be able to use implementation of interventions from within or between systems in the youth's natural ecology that affects or influences the behavior of youth (i.e. family, peer, school, and neighborhood).
  • Must be knowledgeable in the following areas: childhood risk and protective factors, psychological testing and report writing, clinical practice in a correctional facility with juvenile population, cultural issues as they relate to treatment, current ethical and legal issues.
  • Ability to prove administrative supervision, clinical supervision, and training to multidisciplinary clinical and administrative staff.
  • Must be able to work with other professionals including but not limited to Department of Family and Protective Services, judges, attorneys, psychiatrists, psychologists, administrators, probation, detention officers, Family Based Support Services Worker (FBSS) and Child Protective Investigators (CPI).
