Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager in the infrastructure group for one of our largest employers in the upstate. The Information Technology Infrastructure Project Manager (PM) is responsible for a variety of projects across the Network, End User Experience, and Datacenter & Application Platform Service Lines within Michelin. The PM is responsible for delivering the project scope on time and within budget in addition to leading the project Steering Committee meetings (all levels of IT and Business management) and ensuring communication is flowing appropriately to all stakeholders and teams. This role will manage the execution of the project by identifying project deliverables, coordinating work across multiple teams and IT suppliers (Kyndryl, BT, Computacenter, etc.), developing budget and cost plans, identifying risks and issues and will successfully monitor project progress using appropriate methods and metrics to ensure schedules, budgets, and goals are met. This role requires knowledge and practice of project management policies, methods, and procedures as defined in the PMBOK and the aptitude to understand infrastructure technology to successfully engage with Architects and Subject Matter Experts. Successful candidates should be able to work autonomously and demonstrate strong skills in leadership, communication, organization, conflict management, and independent judgment to select proper courses of action to manage project activities, issues, and risks.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience with thorough knowledge in Project Management principles, concepts and practices in the IT space (ex. Agile and PMP)

Knowledge and proven practice of project management policies, methods, and procedures as defined in the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge)

Experience with the following tools (or equivalent): ServiceNow, Microsoft tools (Teams, Project, Powerpoint, Work, Excel, Outlook, etc.), Clarity

Background in infrastructure (i.e. Network, End User Experience, and Datacenter & Application Platform Service Lines)

Strong communication skills: included, but not limited to: gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, build consensus, and suggest / negotiate solutions and alternatives, lead and facilitate effective and efficient meetings and working sessions, build PowerPoint presentations with appropriate level of communication for intended audience

Management of large projects (>$500k)

PMP certification
