The Information Technology Associate (ITA) performs a variety of analytical activities and acts as the technical subject matter expert associated with end-user support and system tester for the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS). The ITA is responsible for the successful resolution of defects and implementation of enhancements. The ITA, as part of an Agile team, works closely with business staff, IT staff, consultants, external entities, and the public, to deliver solutions that align with business needs and have high business value. The ITA demonstrates an understanding of all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), strong customer service skills, CalEPA business processes and procedures; ability to perform technical analysis, act independently with flexibility and tact, and possess strong technical writing skills.

Working Conditions
May work evening or weekend hours in response to system outages/recovery, maintenance, or upgrade activities.
