Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist II (ITS II) is the technical/project lead for the Client Services Modern Device Management team. The ITS II leads all efforts in the Department's modern device management, Microsoft Windows operating system standards and security development, laptop/desktop/mobile device security, Microsoft Intune administration, Microsoft Entra administration, Microsoft 365 computing administration, and Client Services enterprise applications management (e.g., TeamViewer, WASP, Manage Engine). The ITS II plays a major role in advising management and formulating information technology strategy and policy and works collaboratively with other Client Services team members.

The ITS II incumbent must demonstrate the ability to lead complex information technology initiatives and projects and have a cooperative working relationship with team members and business customers. The incumbent must possess strong organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills; works independently and in a team environment; exercise a high degree of initiative; participates in meetings, provides status reports, and completes work assignments effectively, accurately, and timely. The incumbent must keep up with current and industry trends, standards, and practices. The incumbent may be required to lift IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. The incumbent may be required to work overtime on short notice during peak work periods.

Special Requirements
Finance operates under a hybrid telework model, which requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of two days during the workweek. The hybrid policy is subject to change, and additional in-office days may be required at management's discretion or based on operational needs. For positions eligible for full-time telework, employees may be required to report to the office under certain circumstances. Employees will be expected to report to the office within a reasonable amount of time.
