Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. The IT Support Specialist duties include:
  • Performs AD account maintenance (job titles, group membership, and name changes).
  • Act as the technical escalation for 1 st or 3 rd party support.
  • Act on security incidents and escalate to Information Security team with appropriate urgency.
  • Troubleshoot problems, diagnose technical issues, and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner escalating to for 1 st or 3 rd party vendors, or manufacturers as appropriate to minimize disruption to users' productivity.
  • Providing User Training and Documentation: Offering guidance, training, and support to end-users on how to use computer systems, software applications, and IT tools effectively.
  • Creating user documentation, manuals, and training materials to assist users in understanding and utilizing IT resources efficiently.
  • Managing IT Assets and Inventory: Tracking and maintaining an inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.
  • Assisting with procurement, asset management, and inventory control to ensure that IT resources are utilized effectively and in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Works incident queue based on incident priority and escalations to meet internal service level agreements.
  • Regularly communicates and documents status updates on incidents and projects
  • Works independently and shows initiative in resolving complex support issues and requests; escalates issues as required to more senior members of the team and leadership to ensure timely resolution
  • Works with colleagues and IT Department teams to troubleshoot and resolve endpoint issues
  • Performs quality assurance checks on all hardware and software prior to deployment.

Required Skills:
  • 2-5 years' experience in Active Directory
  • Thorough understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Experience with Service Now ticketing system.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification: preferred, not required
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals: preferred, not required
