Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies is looking for an experienced leader, well-versed in project management tools, techniques, and program controls, to lead the day-to-day activities for the program controls team. The successful candidate will also work effectively with the other members of the Program Management Excellence staff, their personnel, and the extended functional areas within the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) Segment team.
Essential Functions:
• Lead initiatives for the program controls team including guidance and consulting to high profile SAS programs
• Bring projects to closure with minimum direction, guidance, or oversight
• Balance priorities across the segment to ensure programs get needed support
• Manage Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) schedules and provide support to programs
• Manage the segment/sector business rhythms and communication to programs and functions
• EVMS expertise and knowledge of government reporting requirements including IPMDAR, IPMR
• Development of a centralized reporting repository and eNotebook for storage of CAM materials
• Assist program teams with the development of quality, compliant program plans
• Work closely with the Program Planning organization to ensure synchronization of processes and overall resource-leveling
• Lead various continuous improvement (e3) initiatives for the Program Management Excellence team
• Provide support to initiatives as laid out by Sr Director, Program Management Excellence
• Arrange for support to various other IMO, BCP, and SAS initiatives as required by Executive Management
• Travel up to 25%
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
• Ability to obtain Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
• 2+ years of prior lead/leadership experience
• 2+ years of experience in program controls and/or project management
• Knowledge of scheduling principles and tools
• Ability to lead and develop relationships with geographically dispersed people
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP)
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, across geographically-disbursed teams
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $106,500-$197,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
