What will you do?

Under supervision of Provider Certification Unit Manager, analyzes & evaluates problem situations encountered by certification staff, determines appropriate action required & disseminates information accordingly. Researches policies to determine feasibility or impact of implementation. Engages the involvement of personnel from county board staff & from other divisions with the department, state & county departments of jobs & family services staff, individuals, & waiver service providers to resolve identified problems related to functions performed by the certification unit. Screens, evaluates & directs situations encountered via telephone, written communication, e-mail, visitors & through the Provider Service Management (PMN) module, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Provides technical knowledge, assistance & training to enable division staff to access, gain proficiency in & use PSM, MITS, and/or CRM, operated by Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) for the purpose of completing their duties. Develops & implements training sessions for certification unit staff related to programs, policies, procedures, functions & special projects performed by the unit. Manages the testing & development of user stories & implementation of updates as they pertain to the PSM/CRM system. Develops relationships with Information Technology staff in order to develop testing plans & implementation dates for PSM projects.

Provides technical knowledge & assistance to unit staff to ensure timely & efficient processing of provider certification applications & county board certification applications. Establishes & implements effective monitoring/tracking systems to ensure the integrity & accuracy of assignments made to staff within the certification unit to insure their compliance with state & federal Medicaid requirements. Answers calls & provides technical support & customer assistance to people calling the DODD Support Center for assistance with certification needs.

Designs & creates presentations, tracking systems, forms & processes on the personal computer system of the unit using Microsoft Office in windows, PowerPoint, Excel & Access or other various software applications & disseminates &/or implements the information.

Uses Data Warehouse, ServiceNow, PSM, CRM, & other reporting software to monitor & analyze operations, systems or procedures of assigned agency to determine needed improvements ensure optimum productivity, efficiency & quality of agency operations &/or services.

**This position is telework eligible under the agency's current telework agreement.**

Qualifications

2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in research & analysis & written documentation of findings.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business or public administration or related field of study.
