JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for shaping and implementing the corporate talent acquisition strategy in collaboration with leadership. Lead and motivate the Corporate Talent Acquisition Team and proactively engaging with applicants and hiring teams. Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive talent attraction strategy and source qualified, diverse talent to meet Corporate Talent Acquisition needs. Collaborate with People Excellence colleagues and represent NCLH value anchors.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and motivate a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists to ensure talent objectives and hiring targets are met.
  • Partner with hiring managers to build effective recruiting strategies with the ability to manage customer/partner expectations.
  • Provide recommendations to hiring managers based on market data and position requirements, serving as a trusted talent partner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues such as People Excellence Business Partners, Information Systems, Talent Management, Compensation and Total Rewards.
  • Screen and source both active and passive candidates in person, over the phone and/or virtually to include behavioral based interviews from entry level to senior level positions.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow up and communication.
  • Provide mentorship and training to TA team members to ensure effective management of stakeholder expectations, communication, and the development of job offers in line with our compensation structure including salary negotiation.
  • Drive ongoing improvement of applicant tracking system and reporting to manage team activity and effectiveness.
  • Lead the training and mentoring of talent acquisition team members and support the continued development of the Talent Acquisition strategy.
  • Support the continued development of the early career and University engagement strategy positioning NCLH as an employer of choice.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Human Resources, Business Administration or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and work experience.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 5 years'experience recruiting in a medium to large organization, successfully executing Director level and above searches. 2 years` experience in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Strong experience using applicant tracking systems such as Workday Recruiting, Greenhouse, iCIMS, PeopleSoft and conducting behavioral based interviews with ATS implementation experience preferred. Experience working in both external recruiting agency and corporate human resources department preferred.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
  • Demonstrated functional/technical expertise in applicant tracking systems as a general user and admin.
  • Good knowledge across Human Resources disciplines and applicable Federal, State, and local laws pertaining to employment, recruitment, and Human Resource management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to provide professional and timely customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Strong and efficient workload management skills to include planning, organizing, prioritizing, and following through on a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to use good judgment in decision making and problem-solving complex issues.
  • Ability to maintain a professional composure while working under stress and pressure.
  • Experience implementing and launching an ATS preferred.
