Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Manager of Talent Acquisition will be critical in the development of a strong Talent Acquisition function at MJHS. This role combines recruitment expertise and a strong analytical lens to support the organization’s commitment to finding and retaining exceptional talent. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition and other stakeholders to align full-cycle recruitment efforts with organizational objectives.
    • Source, conduct interviews and coordinate the selection process for positions when needed.
  • Support the implementation and advancement of all strategic initiatives within the Talent Acquisition function.
  • Manage the Talent Acquisition team in close collaboration with the Director.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members on recruitment best practices.
    • Assist in building effective screening and interviewing structures with an equitable lens.
    • Identify optimal sourcing strategies to build strong, diverse candidate pipelines.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to track progress toward hiring plan goals.
    • Monitor the efficiency of candidate workflow processes and continuously make recommendations to optimize recruitment processes to improve efficiency and enhance the candidate experience.
    • Collect and analyze recruitment/retention data to identify areas of strength and areas of development.
    • Regularly report on performance metrics (i.e. time-to-fill, quality of hire, and source effectiveness).
    • Provide analytics on large event volume recruitment initiatives and provide support where needed.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of the operating areas across the system and each unique workforce to support recruitment strategies.
  • In close coordination with finance and business leads, track and monitor the reconciliation of external recruitment agency usage and its impact on recruitment and retention trends.
  • Create an effective system to prioritize recruitment needs and the management of hard to fill positions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with recruitment team, hiring managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and preferences.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and identify challenges/gaps in the delivery of services/products.
    • Work in partnership with recruitment team/vendors, etc. to ensure that legal compliance (i.e. Pay Transparency) is present in all job postings.
  • Work together with the Director of Talent Acquisition and other stakeholders to enhance, reinforce and promote employer brand.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all recruiting efforts.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience required (preferably in healthcare). At least 2 years in management capacity required.
  • Analytical acumen and experience using data to drive recruiting decisions required.
  • Technical proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new tools (working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems is required). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Working knowledge of sourcing and building candidate pipelines.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of self-motivation and ownership of work.
  • HR-related certification desired.
