The minimum candidate rate for this position is /hr Under general supervision of the Imaging Services Scheduling Manager, responsible for scheduling procedures/examinations for MRI, CT, Diagnostic, Breast Imaging, and Ultrasound. Responsible and accountable for key activities associated with the Imaging Services scheduling systems - RIS, PCIS, and EPIC. Serves as a liaison for external and internal clinical contacts. Operates a multi-line phone system and provides excellent customer service to patients and clinical staff. Responsible for gathering information and screening patients over the phone. Other related functions as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Three (3) years of related experience with scheduling imaging exams/procedures or coordinating imaging exams/procedures through a multi-specialty service (e.g. Oncology or Surgery); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess the skills, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position
• Medical terminology training and/or certificate.
• Must be customer service and detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work effectively and equitably in a team environment.
