Two part-time research assistants are needed to help with completing coding of video measures collected as a part of intervention trials tracking the development and progress in intervention of young children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

The research assistants would learn about the administration and scoring of cutting-edge social-communication measures for young children and be directly supervised by a licensed clinical psychologist in the Autism and Neurodevelopment Clinic at the University of Minnesota.

The primary responsibility of the research assistants will be to watch and rate parent-child play interactions for behaviors related to autism spectrum disorder using an established rating scheme.

Responsibilities

15% administration and scoring of social-communication measures
15% coding of video measures
70% watch and rate parent-child play interactions

Location: 100% on site to start

Qualifications

Required:
Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Background in psychology or related fields and availability to be on-site at MIDB during weekly hours

Preferred:
Experience working with children and/or individuals with disabilities
