The Northwest Region Public Health Division is responsible for developing and implementing public health programs,
conducting research, providing health education, and responding to public health emergencies. Focus includes infectious disease control, maternal and child health, and disease prevention. Our mission is to improve the overall health and well-being of the community we serve.
Why does the job exist?
To provide high quality support to admin staff performing a range of general office/clerical tasks, and assist with the implementation of various policies and procedures.
How does it get done?
Minor bookkeeping duties, maintaining calendars, schedules and coordinate appointments, meetings, training, facilities and other activities. Devotes a substantial portion of time assisting the public. Answering phones, scanning documents, assisting team of two other staff members to help facilitate front desk duties. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or Equivalent and three (3) months experience in office administration and/or customer service. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions
Office setting; exposure to visual/video display terminal extensive computer and telephone usage; extended periods of sitting at the computer: outdoor settings as needed. Regular travel between offices and for training is required. Occasional work outside of normal work schedule to support clinic/community outreach. Ability to lift 25lbs.
